Harwood Design Builders Ltd., a Winnipeg based home builder and renovation company is being recognized by the Canadian Home Builders Association (CHBA) as one of the "very best in Canadian home renovations," with 9 renovation projects hitting the Top-5 list in Canada.

Harwood competed against over 700 entries from coast to coast and was awarded an unprecedented 9 projects in the top 5 in Canada in 2018. This brings the company total to 17 National awards in the top 5 in Canada, plus a number one in Canada. Harwood was also the only Manitoba company to be chosen in the 11 renovations categories defined by the CHBA. See the CHBA Media Release.

Harwood is no stranger to the local and national awards podium, being one of the most awarded renovators in the province. "We're absolutely thrilled," commented Wayne Sage, President of Harwood Design Builders. "This kind of recognition helps to reinforce that our team of designers, supervisors, office staff and construction crews are some of the best in the industry, doing some of the best work in the country for some of the best clients in Manitoba."

According to the CHBA, there were over 150 judges engaged in the process of selecting finalists from the 700+ entries. A select panel of judges then met in Ottawa to review finalists and select the winning entries. The winners will be announced at the Association's 75 National Conference on March 23rd in Victoria, British Columbia.
